General information:

Meloxicam 15 mg tabs is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug with analgesic effect and fever reducer effect as well. It was developed by Boehringer-Ingelheim. You should remember that Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may cause an increased risk of serious cardiovascular   thrombotic events, and stroke, which can be fatal. This risk may increase with duration of use. Patients with cardiovascular disease or risk factors for cardiovascular disease may be at greater risk.

Use:

Meloxicam 7.5mg and meloxicam 15mg tablets treat inflammatory; swelling, pain. Stiffness of the joints. Meloxicam is useful for relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis.

Dosage and form:

Meloxicam is usually in a form of tablets. Meloxicam 7.5 mg is an ordinary dose, but meloxicam 15 mg is also available. These tablets are round in form, yellow and uncoated.  You should take meloxicam tablets orally. You should swallow tablets whole with a full glass of water; take tablets in an upright or sitting position. It is better for you to take a sip of water first, before taking the tablets; it may help you swallow them. If it is  possible take night doses at least 10 minutes before sleep. If meloxicam upsets your stomach, take it with food or milk. Take your doses at regular intervals. Any way you should consult a doctor. Do not take your medicine more often than directed.
